Paideia Homeschool Co-op
Why Paideia:
Paideia - (παιδεία)
(Greek: “education,” or “learning”)
Pronounced: pie-day-ah
Paideia is a Greek word that refers to the whole training and education of children in relation to the cultivation of mind and morals.
It is also a biblical word, employed by New Testament authors in several places including Ephesians 6:4 – “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training (paideia) and admonition of the Lord,” as well as 2 Timothy 3:16 – “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction (paideia) in righteousness.”
Paideia Homeschool Co-op exists to come alongside Christian parents in an effort to train our children in the Lord by immersing them in the instruction of Scripture.
